Reds Rookies Dress Up in Hilarious Costumes for Road Trip
In baseball, rookie relievers often have to carry pink backpacks. That "punishment" will look a lot more tolerable once you see what the Cincinnati Reds rookies had to do on their current road trip.
On Sunday, the team went from Milwaukee to Chicago. It also happened to be "Rookie Day," which meant the veterans would be getting a good laugh out of seeing the rookies dress up in hilarious costumes.
Just looking at the pictures of "Rookie Day" will make you laugh. Whether it's Billy Hamilton (Rainbow Brite), David Holmberg (Snow White), Kristopher Negron (Olive Oyl) or any of the other rookies, it's clear the Reds veterans had fun picking out the costumes.
