Niles Paul's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 2
For fantasy owners who picked up Jordan Reed but saw him go down to injury in Week 1, a ready-made replacement may have just emerged in Niles Paul.
The Washington tight end had a huge game deputizing for Reed against the Jacksonville Jaguars, catching eight passes for 99 yards and a score on a whopping 11 targets. Of note for fantasy owners will be that seven of those receptions (for 80 yards and the score) all came with Kirk Cousins under center.
It's looking more and more likely that Cousins is going to be the starter for quite some time, as Robert Griffin III's ankle injury sounds quite serious. Consider the following from Will Carroll of Bleacher Report:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
At least for Week 3, Paul is a very intriguing waiver addition and TE2 consideration. Once Reed comes back from his hamstring injury, Paul's value will likely all but disappear, but until then the chemistry he showed with Cousins is worth acknowledgment.
In two-tight-end or deeper leagues, he's worth a look this week, as Washington faces Philadelphia's suspect pass defense next.
