Mark Ingram, Pierre Thomas' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 2
The depth chart of the New Orleans Saints may have received a major shakeup, as Mark Ingram appears to have leap-frogged Pierre Thomas for starter's touches.
Ingram racked up 83 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. He also notched three receptions for 21 yards. In a pass-happy offense, Ingram has value in both aspects of attack.
Thomas was thought to be a valuable member of the unit after the Saints parted ways with Darren Sproles. Seeing as Thomas provides similar versatility, big things were expected of him. He didn't live up to that during Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Thomas had just three rushes for 16 yards and three catches for 16 yards. With just six touches, Thomas clearly isn't a focal point of the offense right now.
Moving forward, fantasy owners should not start Thomas until he proves himself. That said, it might be a good idea to drop him entirely if you're desperate for a replacement.
Ingram is a must-add for the near future, as he has also surpassed Khiry Robinson (eight rushes, 31 yards). After recording two touchdowns and 60 yards on 13 carries in Week 1, it's clear the Saints are committed to giving him steady carries.
Given the dynamic nature of the Saints offense, the leading back on this team could turn into a must-start.
