Vontaze Burfict doesn't have a stinger, but a different injury according to Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer

Richard Skinner of Enquirer Media reported on Burfict's status at Bengals practice:

Original Text

Cincinnati Bengals star linebacker Vontaze Burfict left Sunday's Week 2 game against the Atlanta Falcons with a stinger.

Paul Dehner Jr. of The Cincinnati Enquirer reported on the unfortunate development:

Burfict is one of the top young linebackers in the game and has a nose for the football that the Bengals can't easily replace.

A strong defensive performance versus Atlanta is a good sign, but Cincinnati needs Burfict to enhance its odds of defending its AFC North division crown.
