Sammy Watkins, EJ Manuel's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 2
Anyone worried about Sammy Watkins' production after Week 1 is no longer concerned after seeing the rookie wide receiver in action in Week 2.
The No. 4 pick in the 2014 NFL draft had a huge game against the Miami Dolphins, catching eight passes for 117 yards and a touchdown through three quarters. This helped quarterback EJ Manuel have a big day as well with 202 passing yards and the score.
Around The NFL believes this is the start of something big for Watkins:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Mike Rodak of ESPN.com noticed the player was dealing with the same rib injury that hurt him earlier in training camp:
Despite this issue, he was heavily involved throughout the game. Matthew Fairburn of The Post-Standard notes how much Manuel looked his way:
This is a good sign for Watkins going forward as he has earned his quarterback's trust. No matter the opponent, the rookie can be considered a quality option and worthy of a start in most fantasy leagues.
Meanwhile, it is a bit concerning for Manuel to put too much emphasis on one receiver instead of spreading the ball around. However, the young quarterback is doing a good job of limiting his mistakes to help his team win.
Although the Bills still do not throw the ball often enough to make Manuel a consistent fantasy option, he is worth at least a pickup in deeper leagues. If he can keep up his current level of play, he will slowly move into the QB1 territory.
