Steve Smith's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 2
Two games into the season, Steve Smith is building a strong case for why he deserves to be starting for your fantasy football team.
The Baltimore Ravens wide receiver looked really good in Week 1, catching seven passes for 118 yards and a touchdown. In Week 2, Smith had another solid game. You can see his final line below.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh believes that Smith and the AFC North are a perfect pairing, per CBSSports.com's Will Brinson:
Sports Illustrated's Chris Burke joked that defenders are lulled into a false sense of security by seeing "Sr." on Smith's jersey:
You'll likely want to snag Smith off the waiver wire in the coming days if you can. According to NFL.com, he's only owned in 43 percent of leagues. Those playing on ESPN.com are out of luck, though, with Smith gone in 100 percent of leagues.
Expecting him to keep up the pace he's on may be a tad unrealistic. Smith is 35 years old, so he may fade down the stretch, not to mention Joe Flacco isn't the most consistent of quarterbacks.
For the second week in a row, Torrey Smith also had a somewhat fringe role in the offense, tonight much more so than Week 1. After catching three passes for 50 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals, he had one reception for 10 yards. Perhaps tellingly, Flacco targeted him only three times.
The earlier Flacco builds a rapport with Steve Smith, the higher Smith's fantasy value rises. For now, he is certainly worth putting on your starting lineup for Week 3 as a WR2.
