Madden gamers at Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri, better put down their books and start practicing, because it could pay off in a big way.

On Oct. 17, first-year Columbia College President Dr. Scott Dalrymple is hosting Madden NFL 25 tournament. From 11:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., students will battle for the chance to play against the president. If they are fortunate enough to face him and end up winning, textbooks for the entire school year are on him.

Students can be whichever team they want. Dr. Dalrymple has his team picked out: the Buffalo Bills.

Columbia College provided a list of official rules for the challenge.

With hundreds of dollars worth of textbooks on the line, students have an excuse to be glued to the game for the next month.
