ESPN's Tim MacMahon had an update on Durant's status after returning to practice Wednesday:
""I felt good," said Durant, who was a full participant in the practice. "I felt real good."
Barring a setback, Durant will be back in the starting lineup Sunday night against the New Orleans Saints. The Cowboys do not anticipate linebacker Rolando McClain, who is also dealing with a strained groin, being ready for this game.
Durant worked at weakside linebacker Wednesday, where he played in the season opener. He played middle linebacker for most of training camp and the preseason, but the Cowboys slid him over to make room for McClain in the starting lineup.

The Dallas Cowboys will do their best to forget their dismantling at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, but there is at least one player who could feel the debilitating effects of this game for an extended period of time.
Cowboys linebacker Justin Durant left the contest in the fourth quarter with an apparent groin injury. The team's official Twitter account reported the news, listing his return as questionable:
This is Durant's eighth year in the league and second as a member of the Cowboys. Durant was leading the team with seven solo tackles at the time of his injury.
The veteran linebacker was expected add stability and bite to the Dallas defense. He racked up 103 tackles for the Detroit Lions in 2012 but missed six games last season in his first campaign with Dallas. With the defense already in shambles, this is one player the Cowboys can't afford to miss for an extended period of time if they are to regroup after this disastrous start to the season.
