Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams is making sure that his late mother is with him on the football field this week.
Williams' mother, Sandra Hill, passed away back in May after living with breast cancer for years. In a very open piece for The Monday Morning Quarterback that May, the 31-year-old talked about how much his mother meant to him and how breast cancer runs in his family.
As ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted, Williams is doing everything he can to pay tribute to his mother on Sunday. He dyed his hair pink, but that's not all he is doing in her memory:
Those are some very cool tributes.
When October arrives, expect Williams to continue to be one of the league's leaders in raising awareness for breast cancer.
