The LSU Tigers football team landed their first requirement in nearly a month when offensive tackle Evan Washington committed to Les Miles and the Tigers on Tuesday morning.

Washington's acquisition makes him the first prospect to offer the LSU Tigers a commitment since St. Paul's DE Houston Bates committed to the LSU Tigers in mid-June.

At 6-foot-5, 290 lbs, Washington has the frame to grow into a dominant offensive tackle for the Tigers. He needs to work a bit on his footwork, but otherwise is a very talented prospect.

He is rated as a four star prospect by the Rivals recruiting service and is ranked as the 17th best offensive tackle in the nation.
