Reed Out With Hamstring Injury
Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed is out for Sunday's clash with the San Francisco 49ers with a hamstring issue.
The Redskins announced the issue on Twitter on Friday:
Reed has struggled to produce this season, racking up just 24 catches for 239 yards and no touchdowns this season. He's played in just six games on the year and has struggled to make an impact.
Even so, he remains a talented option for Washington and a threat in the receiving game. His absence certainly won't help the team's offensive attack.
But it would certainly be nice to have Reed in the fold to keep up with the NFC East's other explosive passing attacks, as Washington hopes to get its season on track heading down the stretch.
