Clint Dempsey's scintillating form continued on Major League Soccer's biggest stage on Sunday: The Great Northwest Derby. 

The Seattle Sounders superstar clinically squeezed a shot past Portland goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts to give the Sounders a 2-0 lead over their fierce rival. 

The goal was set up by a lung-busting run on the counterattack from Obafemi Martins.
