Atlanta Falcons to Begin Selling Alcohol-Infused Cupcakes at Home Games

“I’m going to ask you this once: How many cupcakes have you had tonight?”

“Only two, officer. Hand to God.”

Get ready for exchanges of this nature, Atlanta, because the Falcons are mixing booze and baked goods for the 2014-15 NFL season.

Extra Mustard’s Brendan Maloy reports that Atlanta bakery Delights By Dawn will be selling its trademark “Toxycakes” inside the Georgia Dome at all Falcons home games.

The bakery’s slogan is “Intoxicating Desserts to Warm the Soul,” and its cupcakes come “infused” in an array of alcoholic flavors, including Chocolate Cherry Bourbon, Apple Fireball Cinnamon and Key Lime Margarita. It’s unclear which flavors will be on sale at the venue, but we’re praying Ciroc Amaretto will find its way into the rotation.

How much alcohol is in Dawn’s delicious treats? We don’t know that, either.

I do think these things are going to sell like the hotcakes they are in Atlanta. 

After all, as Ludacris once said, “Cupcake fills, cupcake mills. Check out the oil my cupcake spills.” 

Popping champagne is out, sports fans. If you really want to party in Atlanta, you’re getting piping hot tray service.
