Ware's Absence Weakened Fearsome Broncos Pass Rush
Denver's defense is among the league's most feared due in part to the Ware and Von Miller combination.
Ware, 33, is in his second season with the Broncos after spending nine years with the Dallas Cowboys. During that time, the Troy product produced 117 sacks and was named to the Pro Bowl seven times.
His first year in Denver was productive as well. He registered 45 tackles and 10 sacks, which was good enough for his eighth Pro Bowl nod in what may turn out to be a Hall of Fame career.
Ware went eight seasons without missing a game before having to sit out three in 2013. He bounced back last year by playing in all 16 games, and while he has always been considered a durable player, the grind of the NFL season gets more difficult to handle as guys get older.
