Former New York Yankees great Mariano Rivera made a living by using a nasty cutter, but Los Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen has the potential to be even more devastating.

As great as Rivera was, his cutter averaged in the low 90s.

On Tuesday night, against the Los Angeles Angels, Jansen threw a 98 mph cutter.

Many pitchers have a hard time throwing their heater that hard—but a cutter? Forget about it.
