Gore was later ruled out for the game with a concussion.

While injuries had been a problem earlier in his career, Gore played in all 16 games in each of the past three seasons, reaching the Pro Bowl each time. Gore, 31, also had played in every game of the 2014 season up to this point.

Altogether, the veteran has reached five Pro Bowls in his career while becoming the all-time leading rusher in franchise history.
