Legends League Quarterback Scores Rushing Touchdown, Drinks Beer in the End Zone

Heather Furr ran out of cares to give earlier this month during a game against the Green Bay Chill.

The Chicago Bliss quarterback rushed in a touchdown against an overwhelmed and visibly upset Chill defense.

A glutton for theatrics, Furr then rubbed hops in the wound by drinking a fan’s beer in their end zone. Joe Kinsey of Busted Coverage spotted the video, which the Legends League is quite proud of.

The league posted the video to YouTube with an “About” description shooting darts at Roger Goodell:

"Ever wonder why the NFL is called the ‘No Fun League’ while the LFL is considered the Rock n Roll football league? Could have something to do with players like Heather ROCKSTAR Furr scoring a touchdown then slamming down a fan’s beer!"

And why shouldn’t the league celebrate her victory slurp?

Furr Manziel-ed harder than anyone has a right to—harder than Johnny himself could ever dream of Manziel-ing. It was a celebration of the game, a back-to-basics affirmation of the rec league competition that birthed the trillion-dollar sports-industrial complex.

Drinking a beer after a touchdown is a move I personally reserve for the family Turkey Bowl. Like the Legends League, I play  for the love of the game. The only paycheck I cash is for a strained groin and potato salad. I earned that victory beer.

So I understand where you’re coming from, Furr. You don’t lose sight of the real purpose of organized sports: having fun while promoting the sale of alcohol.
