Kevin Kouzmanoff, Jose Reyes (3 Runs) and John Bowker each collected 4 Hits. Jeremy Hermida, Randy Wynn, Ryan Doumit, Prince Fielder, Justin Morneau, Jason Kubel, Dustin Pedroia (3 RBI), Rafael Furcal (4 RBI), David Wright, Torii Hunter, and Milton Bradley each had three hits. Alfonso Soriano and Ryan Church each drove in 3 Runs. Matt Kemp drove in 4.

Tim Hudson pitched a Complete Game three-hit Shutout with 10 Ks and no walks to earn his 4th victory of the year. He outdueld Edison Volquez, who allowed 1 Earned Run in 6 Innings with 9 Ks. Chien-Ming Wang allowed 1 Run on 3 Hits with 5 Ks in 6 Innings to improve to 6-0. He outdueled Erik Bedard, who allowed 1 Earned Run in 7 Innings with 6 Ks. Shaun Marcum gave up 2 Hits in 6-2/3 scoreless Innings. He struck out 9. Mark Buehrle pitched a Complete Game allowing 2 unearned Runs for the Loss. He struck out 7. Livan Hernandez pitched 7 Innings allowing 1 Run for his 4th Win. Adam Wainwright allowed 1 Run in 6 Innings, but took a no-decision. John Maine allowed 2 Runs in 6 Innings with 6 Ks for his 3rd Win. Jeremy Guthrie allowed 2 Runs in 7 Inning with 6 Ks for his 1st Win. Vicente Padilla allowed 1 Earned Run in 5-2/3 Innings with 6 Ks for his 4th Win. Joe Blanton (7 Innings, 2 Earned Runs) took the loss.
