Meet the divas of the IFOCE

Question: Is a woman more or less attractive when they have a mouth full of hot dog?  And we mean that in the least creepy, suggestive way possible. 

One would probably have to lean towards “less”, but then again, any woman who can remain soft on the eyes while shoveling 34 dogs and buns down her throat in 12 minutes maintains a certain unique appeal.

While Kobayashi and Joey Chesnut have their own little rivalry going as they battle for the mustard belt every 4th of July, there is another battle brewing within the International Federation Of Competitive Eating - the battle to see which 40-year old Asian woman holds the title of “hottest female professional eater”.  And we use the word “hot” under the caveat that these woman work in an industry where they are frequently seen with chewed up chunks of food in their hair. 

In one corner we have the incumbant, Sonya “the Black Widow” Thomas, the 40-year old veteran of the food circuit who once slammed 80 chicken nuggets in 5 minutes and knocked back 10% of her body weight in meatballs over a 12 minute span (10 pounds).  She’s single, gentlemen…

But at $5.75 for a pretzel, she will straight eat your ass broke if you take her to a ballgame…

In the other corner we have “The Lovely” Juliet Lee, a 43-year old who, this past weekend, was part of a team of eaters who took on three elephants in a hot dog bun eat-off (they got destroyed 505-143) and earlier this year slurped down 13.23 pounds of jellied cranberry sauce in 12 minutes. 

If you happen to be a guy who has a fetish for broads who can shove inordinately large portions of corned beef in their mouths at once, we suggest you make sure that you’re not standing up at work anytime soon…

Sonya Thomas and Juliet Lee - both fairly attractive, both blessed with world class ability to gorge themselves. 

The battle rages on.
