Xherdan Shaqiri's Response to Bayern Munich Chief as Liverpool Rumours Persist

Xherdan Shaqiri has issued a cheeky response to being called a player for the future by Bayern Munich sporting director Matthias Sammer.

The Swiss star has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Germany, possibly to Liverpool, as the The Independent claims.

That piece also includes quotes from Sammer, saying that the club won't sell the 22-year-old:

Xherdan is an important player for the future. There are no thoughts at all about selling him.

"

Shaqiri's tweet this morning appears to be directly in relation to that statement:

So whether you take that to mean he's definitely off to Liverpool or definitely staying put and dominating the Bayern midfield, he's certainly not short of confidence.
