Liverpool will sell winger Ousamma Assaidi to Stoke City on permanent deal this week, according to Theย Telegraph's John Percy.

Percy writes that the Moroccan's fee will be an initial ยฃ4.5 million, possibly rising to ยฃ7 millionโ€”in either instance that's a healthy profit on the ยฃ2.4 million The Reds paid for the winger two years ago.

Assaidi wasn't in the squad which played the first pre-season friendly at Brondby on Wednesday night.

The latest report surrounding Ivorian forward Wilfried Bony suggests that Swansea will demand more than the reported ยฃ19 million release clause for the player, according to The Mirror.

Alan Nixon writes that "hard-bargaining [Swansea chairman Huw] Jenkins is fuming thatย Bony'sย advisers have been working on the transferโ€”and is in no mood to give in."

The Express had suggested that Liverpool were close to sealing a ยฃ20 million move for Bony, who scored 27 goals for club and country last season.
