Things were going just fine in Brazil's World Cup campaign until Neymar injured his spine in the quarter-finals against Colombia. From there...not so much.

With Neymar, Brazil were unbeaten and had outscored opponents 10-4 in five matches. Without him, they lost their remaining two contests by a combined 10-1.

So as under-fire manager Luiz Felipe Scolari attempted to pick up the pieces in the post-match press conference, Neymar took it upon himself to make a touching gesture. He interrupted the proceedings and gave Scolari a nice, long hug.
