Is Edge's Injury a Blessing in Disguise for Chris Jericho?

Hello, everyone.

As always, thank you for spending a few moments with me today.

It would seem now with Edge's injury, he is going to be on the shelf for a while. This leaves a big question mark with what they will do with Chris Jericho now.

It is most likely that Jericho will either have to forfeit the WWE tag team straps, or they will give him another partner and then they will pass them on to Legacy.

The next big question is what will they do with Jericho now?

The WWE could go a few different routes with Jericho. The easy thing to do would be to just have him continue his feud with Mysterio. If I had to guess, though, I don't think they will go that route.

Another possible angle is to have him feud with John Morrison. They have had them wrestle on a few different occasions and since they work well together, they would be capable of putting on a solid feud.

The third option would be that they could have Jericho get involved in the title picture. They could use the Hardy match as a playoff and go from there. This is the option I would prefer to see the WWE use.

I am sure there are other things they could do with Jericho also. I am just listing a few of the obvious choices.

If I had to choose, I would rather see Jericho either feud with Morrison or make a run at the title.

While Edge's injury has no doubt caused a major setback in the plans, it isn't anything that can't be worked around.

I just hope the WWE takes the time to figure out a proper course of action.

This could ultimately be a big break for Jericho. He is a key player on the Smackdown roster, so I'm sure they will want to find something big for him to do.

I feel bad for Edge as he will be out for a while, but things just happen sometimes. You know what they say though, when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.
