Brian Pattie: Is He The Brain Behind Juan Pablo Montoya's Team Success
A good Chevy with horsepower helps but Brian Pattie is the what was needed to solidify this team.
Brian's relationship with Juan Pablo Montoya is described as "awesome" , key word here is, awesome, that is one of the differences in the 42 team this year.
They seamed to be a team, the crew have actually won the Tissot pit award this year at Sonoma.
This season has been run in blocks of races, the next block, from Daytona to Watkins Glen has to give the 42 team a few top 1o finishes and a win.
There is just to many teams with a shot at making the chase, drivers need to be careful, but sooner or later, they got to go for the fence, baseball terms, not the one your thinking of.
Brian Pattie has to know in his hart, they have to take some chances in the next five races, they need to win a race to solidify their place in the top twelfth.
The move of having Brian promoted to Cup will prove to be one Chip Ganassi's best decisions in years.
It's certainty better than the ones he made in the first part of the 2008 season. Just saying.
Will this team make the chase? Well, I am a fan, so I should not comment, yea right!
They will make the chase and do very well.
If they make the chase can they win the championship? well , why not? that's why they have it, so 12 folks can have an even chance to win it.
Agree?
