WWE Money in the Bank 2014: Full Predictions for Each Champion at Event

Money in the Bank is right around the corner, and with the way things are shaping up, this is going to be one hell of a pay-per-view.

We now know that there will be two Ladder matches taking place. One will be for the traditional MITB briefcase and one will be for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

We also have a match scheduled for the Tag Team Championships, with The Usos defending against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Sheamus is the U.S. champ, but he is already in the title Ladder match.

That leaves Intercontinental champion Wade Barrett and Divas champion Paige without matches. Barrett may end up defending his title, but odds are good that he will end up in the Ladder match for the briefcase.

With Naomi scoring a recent victory over Paige, that puts her in line for a future title shot. It's looking like every champion will be in action at the event, and this slideshow will offer predictions for how each one will perform.

The Usos

1 of 4

Jimmy and Jey Uso are set to defend the WWE Tag Team Championship against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Based on previous encounters, we can expect a hard-hitting brawl from these two teams.

As for who walks out with the title belts, it seems like it might be Harper and Rowan's time to have some glory of their own. The Usos have been pretty good champions, but they have kind of exhausted their options for competition.

The Wyatt Family has been based around Bray Wyatt up until now. It's time for Rowan and Harper to step up a little and prove once again that they can stand on their own as a tag team. Money in the Bank will likely see new Tag Team champs.

Paige recently lost a match to Naomi, and if WWE booking history tells us anything, it's that Naomi is now in line for a Divas Championship match.

The card for MITB is still pretty sparse, so adding a Divas title match sometime within the next week seems pretty likely, especially with many of WWE's male Superstars being locked up in two different Ladder matches.

Naomi is going to be Divas champion someday. It's not a matter of if; it's a matter of when. That time is not right now. Paige still has some life left in her title reign. With the recent issues The Funkadactyls have been having, it seems possible that Cameron could cost Naomi the title in some way, facilitating a breakup in the process.

Sheamus and Wade Barrett

Sheamus has already earned a spot in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder match, and it's very likely that Bad News Barrett will earn a spot in the traditional Ladder match for the guaranteed title shot.

Both men are doing a good job with their midcard title at the moment, so it seems highly unlikely that we will see either of them win one of the Ladder matches.

If Barrett does end up in some sort of match for his Intercontinental title, he will almost certainly come away with his title intact.

I see both of these men putting forth good performances at the PPV, but neither of them will win a Ladder match.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship

4 of 4

The most exciting thing about this year's Money in the Bank PPV is that we know for sure that a new champion will be crowned at the event.

The participants in the Ladder match will be Cesaro, Bray Wyatt, Sheamus, John Cena, Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns.

There are a few ways WWE could go here. The company could put the title on an established star like Cena or Orton, or it could put the title on a newcomer to the main event scene like Roman Reigns or Bray Wyatt.

If the plan is to have Daniel Bryan win the title upon his return, then a credible heel champion is needed. That is one of the reasons why Randy Orton is the most likely candidate to win the title at MITB.

Those are my predictions for the championships at Money in the Bank. What are yours?
