The Roll-Up: Abraham Washington, RAW Rating, Canada Day, Taz, and More..
So the RAW ratings are in and just as I thought, the ratings dropped to an average of 3.9 for the night. The first hour was a 3.69 and the second hour was a 4.05. To add insult to injury, "The Closer" beat the WWE again.
ECW was suprisingly fun last night. They got the worse end of the trade but have some optimisim brewing. The Abraham Washington Show is one of the reasons for hope. A new blood of pro-wrestlers is the other reason for hope.
Today is Canada Day. For those who are Canadian, Happy Canada's Day. In honor of Canada day I came up with a list of The Top 10 Canadian Pro-Wrestlers of All-Time. I must say, this list was hard to make...
Taz's WWE no compete clause is over. Today he is officially free to do what he wants. On his Facebook page, Taz said he will not wrestle. So you have to think that when he goes to TNA it will be in a manager capacity.
A couple of quick notes:
- The Pontiac Silverdome is up for sale/auction. As we all know, it was home of WrestleMania 3.
- Edge had a great interview last week. He talked about his health, Hardy, Christian reunion and more.
- The artist formerly known as Mr. Kennedy is making his first appearance this summer down in Puerto Rico. Obviously, it's not in a wrestling capacity since his no-compete clause doesn't end until sometime in September.
As always, you can catch me reporting on Pro-Wrestling at The Examiner.
