United says it's found McIlroy's clubs.

Hallelujah.

Hey, United Airlines: Rory McIlroy would really appreciate if you found his golf bag, because, well, he kind of packed his livelihood in there.

Yes, it would appear the Chicago-based airline lost McIlroy's clubs somewhere between Newark Liberty International and Dublin Airport.

The Northern Irish golfer sent out a less than thrilled tweet Tuesday asking United if it had an update on that lost bag of equipment he needs to make money.

With the Irish Open teeing off Thursday, McIlroy probably isn't too excited about the prospect of renting or borrowing clubs.

Playing with another pro's clubs is worse than cheating and weirder than cousin-love to a professional golfer. It's just not right—not in this venue, with a reported $2 million in prize winnings on the line.

At this point, all McIlroy can do is wait and hope every last United employee in the U.S. is searching for a bag of Nike clubs with a Saint Bernard head cover and a bend in the wedge.

Then again, it could be too late. Some lucky golfer who flew from Newark to California this week could be teeing off at Pebble Beach with a newly found bag of McIlroy edition Nike clubs.

Please find Rory's clubs, United. He’s not much good without them.
