Kenny Perry, 53, the oldest golfer in the U.S. Open field, was hitting out of the native rough area on the par-four 14th, a 479-yard hole.

Perry is currently seven over for the tournament, 15 back of leader Martin Kaymer, but that didn't matter on this shot of the tournament.

Using a hybrid from 220 yards out, Perry registered the first eagle of the week on the 14th hole.
