Miami Heat fans continue to leave everyone shaking their heads, and not just because they left Game 4 early.

The San Antonio Spurs once again controlled the game from the start. At one point in the first half, they led by 22 points. It got so bad for the Heat that the hometown crowd began to boo the team. Yes, the same team that has made the NBA Finals four straight times and has won the last two titles.

The booing continued at various points in the second half. However, the booing was gone once the crowd started thinning out. This isn't the first time in the series that the fans had left AmericanAirlines Arena early. Heat fans were heading for the exits with a few minutes remaining in Game 3, but they decided to get an even earlier head start on traffic.

How early did the fans begin to leave in masses?

Here's what the arena looked like in the final minutes:

While it may be tough to blame fans for leaving a game early after watching their team get dominated in two straight games, those fans may regret leaving early come the offseason. If Miami is unable to win Game 5 in San Antonio, Game 4 may have been the end of the Big Three era at AmericanAirlines Arena. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh can all opt out of their contracts at the end of the season.

To their credit, those fans who did stick around until the end showed the team some love by starting a "Let's go Heat!" chant in the final minute.
