Texas Rangers Ask Fans Not to Do Wave During Game to Prevent Injuries

Just when you think you've seen it all, a warning like this pops up.

During a recent game against the Miami Marlins, the Texas Rangers warned the fans at Globe Life Park in Arlington not to do the wave in order to prevent injuries. Seriously.

Most teams encourage fans to do anything that gets them loud, but at some point, safety comes first. Of course, this warning is likely just a joke about how many injuries the Rangers have suffered. Texas has had 19 players land on the disabled list this season, which is the most in the majors.

The warning leads to one question: Could one really get hurt doing the wave?

That's not a chance the Rangers are willing to take. Their players have had bad enough luck this year, so they want to make sure that their fans are healthy enough to come out to the ballpark.
