Fantasy Baseball Free Agent Pool—Speed Demons

Just because you've slipped behind in the Stolen Base category doesn't mean you can't catch up. Here are some reasonably available SB threats.

Emilio Bonifacio, 2B/3B, Florida Marlins

Emilio picked up four SBs last week while hitting .346 (nine for 26) with eight runs and three RBI. On the year, he's hitting .250 with 16 SBs, 42 Runs, one HR, and 20 RBI.  He's owned in 26 percent of Yahoo!, 37.3 percent of ESPN, and 35 percent of CBS leagues.

Everth Cabrera, SS, San Diego Padres

Everth makes his debut in the Speed Demon club with three SBs last week. He hit .348 (eight for 23) with five runs and three RBI. In 16 games, he's hitting .319 with three SBs, 11 runs, and four RBI. He's owned in four percent of Yahoo!, 0.4 percent of ESPN, and 14 percent of CBS leagues.

Erick Aybar, SS, Los Angeles Angels

Aybar had two SBs last week while hitting .300 (six for 20) with six Runs and an RBI. On the year, he's hitting .276 with five SBs, 24 runs, two HRs, and 21 RBI. He's owned in four percent of Yahoo!, 2.3 percent of ESPN, and seven percent of CBS leagues.

Willie Harris, 2B/3B/OF, Washington Nationals

Willie picked up two SBs last week while hitting .296 (eight for 27) with four runs, two HRs, and four RBI. On the year, he’s hitting .241 with seven SBs, 22 runs, four HRs, and 15 RBI. He's owned in eight percent of Yahoo!, 0.6 percent of ESPN, and three percent of CBS leagues.

Brett Gardner, OF, New York Yankees

Brett stole two bases last week while hitting .320 (eight for 25) with four runs, a HR, and two RBI. On the year, he's hitting .289 with 17 SBs, 31 runs, three HRs, and 13 RBI. He's owned in 20 percent of Yahoo!, 10.6 percent of ESPN, and 26 percent of CBS leagues.

Scott Podsednik, OF, Chicago White Sox

Pods had two SBs last week while hitting .281 (nine for 32) with four runs, one HR, and four RBI. On the year, he's hitting .313 with 12 SBs, 26 Runs, three HRs, and 20 RBI. He's owned in 60 percent of Yahoo!, 20.1 percent of ESPN, and 48 percent of CBS leagues.

Chris Getz, SB, Chicago White Sox

Getz had two SBs last week while hitting .182 with six runs, one HR, and eight RBI.  On the year, he's hitting .243 with 11 SBs, 29 runs, one HR, and 16 RBI. He's owned in four percent of Yahoo!, 2.2 percent of ESPN, and 12 percent of CBS leagues.

Franklin Gutierrez, OF, Seattle Mariners

Gutierrez continues to produce.  He had two SBs last week while hitting 391 (nine for 23) with four Runs, one HR, and three RBI.  On the year, he's hitting .266 with five SBs, 32 runs, seven HRs, and 27 RBI.  He's owned in six percent of Yahoo!, 2.7 percent of ESPN, and 10 percent of CBS leagues.

Willie Bloomquist, 2B/OF, Kansas City Royals

Willie struggled at the plate, hitting .182 (four for 22) with two runs, but did manage two SBs.  On the year, he’s hitting .273 with 12 SBs, 24 runs, one HR, and 14 RBI.  He's owned in eight percent of Yahoo!, 2.2 percent of ESPN, and 10 percent of CBS leagues.
