All The Bad Decisions During Nba Draft Week

(1)  I wanted to start off by bashing Minnesota Gm Kahn, but the moved he made at draft were so unbelievably stupid that he just might  be genius. Overall Rubio is an asset, and so is Flynn. But the idea of the 2 most similar players in the draft playing with each other is beyond me! Then drafting Lawson and trading him to Denver, for their 2010 1st round pick? We already know that Denver will have a very low draft pick next season, they are already a  power house and I am willing to put money on the fact that Lawson will add to their team! 

(2) How in the world did Sam Young drop to late 2nd round, is it because of age? He maybe 24, but that is still very young. His body of work in college, shows that he is NBA ready, so he will be this years Michael Redd.

(3) After a series of highly commendable moves by Otis Smith, finally we see a less than spectacular. In the deal for Vince, you gain a more formal NBA line up, but that is it. You also gain Ryan Anderson, who will most likely slide down to the end of the bench and play limited minutes. You lose a shooting guard with great upside, in Courtney Lee who already has appeared in the NBA finals. You lose Rafer Alston, who helped you get to the NBA finals, and who was an asset that was used in the wrong way. Last but not least you lose HEDO TURKOGLU. His 6'10 frame caused a mismatch every time he went out on the floor, he is a play maker, which Carter is not. He wins ball games for you in the latter part of the 4th quarter and that cannot be replaced. The chemistry he has developed with the team is irreplaceable. And most importantly, he is much cheaper than Carter. You lose depth in this deal and you lose in my opinion the 2nd most important player after Howard. Turkoglu is also a better player than Carter is at this point in their careers. While Carter may dazzle you, Turkoglu will satisfy you every game with defense or killer game winners

(4) A silent winner in this years draft was Toronto, who gained Derozan a player with treamendous upside and the workethic as well as maturity to nurture that upside.

(5) Finally a victory for the LA Clippers, who have finally made a good decision!
