@CanadiensMTL

It's understandable that Youppi didn't want to show his face in this photo.

A day after watching his Montreal Canadiens get eliminated from the 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs by the New York Rangers, the mascot had to start paying up on a bet made with Jimmy Fallon.

UPDATE: Sunday, June 1 at 2:25 p.m. ET

Youppi continues to make good on his bet with Fallon, as there were a couple photos of the Canadiens mascot walking around Montreal in a Rangers jersey.

---End of update---

Before the Eastern Conference finals, Fallon and the Canadiens made a bet on Twitter:

The Rangers were on board with this bet:

The Rangers finished off the Canadiens in Game 6 on Thursday night to advance to the Stanley Cup finals. Way to stick to your word, Rangers. Fallon is very grateful.

The talk show host must be looking forward to Sunday.
