Happy Birthday to Derek Jeter who turns 35 today.

He was born in Pequannock, N.J. at the old Chilton Hospital. I was born at the same hospital three years later.

I am really starting to feel old, it seems like just yesterday he came up and started playing shortstop and winning World Series and here we are 13 years later and he is becoming an old man. Well not really but in baseball he is.

Derek is having one of his best years defensively in a while, though, so maybe he is getting better with age. I hope he celebrates his birthday with a couple of hits and a Yankees win tonight.
