TNA Impact: The Mafia Takes Control (June 25)
The Main Event Mafia is back in charge of TNA and, with Samoa Joe, they are more ruthless than ever. Just ask AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Jeff Jarrett, and Sting.
I am very happy to see Kurt Angle as the champ. In fact, you can read my article all about Kurt Angle being back on top of TNA.
I still don’t like The Samoa Joe Swerve and my opinions haven’t changed since the PPV. Click here to read my article on “The Samoan Swerve: Joe Turns Heel”.
Now, I'm all for Samoa Joe being a heel. He is much better as a heel. His matches are more entertaining and it suits his character. I don’t like the logic (storyline) behind the turn.
Hmmm, Foley wants a rematch right away. I love Foley, but I would prefer Kurt fight someone else. I can’t wait for a feud between Daniels and Angle.
I’d like to see the tag belts on Booker T and Steiner. The more titles in the M.E.M, the more dominant they become.
Plus, it makes me reminisce about the glory days of The Steiner Brothers and Harlem Heat. Give it up to TNA’s tag-team division.
The Knockouts are legit. Thumbtack matches keep the women of TNA entertaining and exciting. The greatest women’s division of all-time.
I don’t really care for the 3D vs. British Invasion feud. I like both teams, but it just feels stale to me.
Lastly, it was about time Sting got the boot from the Mafia. It should have happened a while ago. But, at least it was somewhat dramatic.
The battle lines are drawn.
