Chad Ford Mock Draft 7.0 —DaJuan Blair To The Trail Blazers?

As you all know, today is draft day. I'm giddy like a school girl and have discussed scenarios with four different people already this morning. I want to stand by my pick to trade out of the draft but if what Chad Ford is predicting comes true, I won't be mad.

Here's his latest draft mock up(with confidence level now added) and he has us taking DeJuan Blair at the newly acquired 22nd pick:

Confidence level: 60 percent

Analysis: Why would the Blazers move up two spots in the draft? The word around the league was the Kings had zeroed in on Omri Casspi with the 23rd pick. Casspi could be a good pick for the Blazers to either keep overseas or bring over this year to provide more toughness in the frontcourt.

However, I think Kevin Pritchard won't be able to pass on Blair if he's on the board.

If we could pull off drafting Blair to back-up LaMarcus Aldridge I'd be thrilled. The only way it gets better after that is acquiring a veteran point guard. This is my dream depth chart:
