Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is expected to sack Tim Sherwood, per Matt Law at the Telegraph.
"Levy did not want to give Sherwood the bad news on Monday because it would overshadow Ledley King’s testimonial," Law wrote. "But Levy is now expected to move quickly in confirming Sherwood’s five-month stint is over."
Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood has yet to discuss his long-term future with chairman Daniel Levy.
"It'll be nice [to get the situation] clarified and then we can look to pre-season and targets for next season as well," Sherwood said, per Sky Sports. "It's been a great learning curve for me. I've tried to do as best I can and preparing the team every week to win games."
Sherwood helped guide Spurs to sixth.
Should he get fired, he deserves another shot with a bottom-tier Premier League team or a Championship side pushing for promotion.
Harry Redknapp has had a long managerial career with a rudimentary philosophy, so Sherwood should look to emulate Redknapp.
Tottenham Hotspur loanee Jake Livermore prefers to move permanently to Hull City than return to Spurs next season.
"I'd like to stay [at Hull]," Livermore said, per Philip Buckingham at the Hull Daily Mail. "Whatever happens in the summer, whatever the two clubs agree, if they could sort something out that would be great."
Livermore has started 34 of Hull's 38 Premier League games this season.
He completed 1,378 passes and formed a strong partnership with former Spurs player Tom Huddlestone.
Remy has scored 14 goals from 90 shots in the Premier League on loan at Newcastle United this season.
