What Is the Best WWE Match of the 21st Century? (Grand Final)
After weeks of voting we have finally reached the big one. This is it, folks. The last stop on the way to finding out, once and for all: what is the best WWE match of the 21st century?
Here are the results from the semi finals:
TLC 2 - 16 (Winner)
HHH vs. HBK vs. Benoit - 13
TLC 1 - 11
HBK vs. Flair - 18 (Winner)
The Rock vs. Hogan - 4
HBK vs. Undertaker - 26 (BIG Winner)
So now you know which matches have made the triple threat final, who will you vote for?
I have included highlight packages of each match so you can take a walk down memory lane before giving your opinion.
There's only one bracket, which means you only need to vote for one match. As always, have fun! Let's get started!
Match One: The Hardyz vs. The Dudleyz vs. Edge & Christian (TLC 2, Wrestlemania X-7)
This match built on the first TLC match to such a point that the participants didn't think it was possible to push the bar any higher.
Jeff Hardy hung from the title belts and got speared by Edge from the top of a ladder. Matt Hardy and Bubba Ray were taken out at the end of the match after crashing through four stacked tables. Edge & Christian retained their titles after an excellent match.
Match Two: Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair (Retirement match, Wrestlemania 24)
This is the match where HBK's famous words "I'm sorry, I love you" came from. Ric Flair went out with a bang in his final match on the grandest stage of 'em all. Michaels won the match after a Sweet Chin Music, and retired his good friend Ric Flair.
Match Three: Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker (Wrestlemania 25)
This is the best Wrestlemania match ever, in my opinion. They had an absolute classic, and even now they are still recovering. At the end of it all The Undertaker won and kept his streak alive. There was an overwhelming amount of votes for this match in the semi final, so it has a lot to live up to.
It's all up to you, readers!
