Great Mma Characters

Some personalities make an impression.

thankfully we have the right to enjoy them.

the following are my favorites

Quinton Jackson

first of all i don't see anyone in particular disliking this guy. he talks shit. the difference is that he does it for the fans. he is a joker. he wants to win and enjoys his job. he makes friends and jokes about opponents. but if hes ever angry its hardly about what an opponent has said. its about his own performance. he will fight anyone. and will create beef as long as the fans still want it. to me if you've ever listened to interviews. he is the perfect professional for the sport of mma.

he is a guys guy. the situations, comments, subjects in general that bother him are socially normal. he's bothered by a loss. offended by comments, and enjoys a good slugfest. i think we can all agree that could describe alot of maybe mma fans but definitely mma audiences. he doesn't go out of his way to talk a lot of shit, but he is goofy and in his public life (outside the octagon and gym) doesn't take himself too seriously. i like that guy. the guy who can live life. and not make himself suffer.

(Red Devil)

as a group have that hard stonefaced determination and undeniable appearance of always being a tough obstacle.

this group of fighters know what people think of them and they embrace it. and deliver to us exactly what we want to see from them.

1st example: Gegard Mousasi

newer to the mma big screen. he is dominant. doesn't say too much. almost says too little. he comes in and does what he needs to in order to win. all moves in response to his opponents actions. he has no like or dislike about his opponent. and which contrary to his appearance (which a lot of the american audiences loves to base their first impression on), he shows strength when not expected, and skill when not expected. very reminiscent of fedor early in his career. i like him and he is one of the only fighters in his weight class with the potential for capabilities that anderson silva has displayed.

2nd example: Aleksander Emelianenko

this man on the other hand comes with the appearance to match your expectations. and what makes him special is that in the category we place him in, he is alone. has very similar characteristics to mousasi. he is a foreboding character that still hardly speaks. there are alot of fighters we get excited to see that we initially think have this quality, when coming on to the scene end up ruining it once they open their mouth. i hate to say it but the number one factor that makes us dislike these potential dark, dominant, mean, removed, characters that we want to love so much belongs to americans. and that is the mouth. aleksander has never said too much and when he does speak he is direct but not all in your face because frankly... he doesn't have to be.

3rd example: Fedor Emelianenko

i hope i don't have to say much about him. i'm sure anyone who reads this knows weather or not it was himself or the fans that have given him the untouchable human persona that every fighter wants to have (it was both the fans and himself that gave him that by the way), he is what he is. the best and he has never faltered from who he was in the beginning. and that is why he is what every fan must accept as the most dominant character to have ever perticipated in mma....so far

please comment and respond with other.

i'm definitely partial lol, and i know there are other great personalities out there.

so tell me
