Pinto: Did nothing for a long stretch, then got beaten by Lafita. In the second half he pulled of a wonder save on Sarabia.

Adriano: Got forward extremely well down the left and gave Getafe problems.

Alves: Dominated the right on his own, got an assist for Messi. Everything ran through him.

Mascherano: Dealt well in defence and passed well from the back.

Bartra: Quietly solid.

Sergio: Saw plenty of the ball, wasn't called into action defensively too often.

Xavi: Recycled the ball well, his connection with Alves was as good as ever.

Pedro: Made one delightful run in behind the full-back. Did very well on the left.

Iniesta: Ran well with the ball on the left and created openings.

Alexis: Stretched the pitch well on the right, worked well with Alves. Scored a nicely-worked goal.

Messi: Scored a beautiful goal, but was relatively quiet overall.
