My Thoughts On: 6/22/09 RAW

OK, tonight's RAW was a mixture of good and bad.

First and foremost is the news about Donald Trump. For recaps about his significant appearance click on the links below:

• Trump's Debut
• Trump fires Santina Morella, which was big news to me...ha ha ha.
• Trump sells RAW back to Vince
• I Will be writing an article on the Trump storyline tomorrow morning... Check for it at my Examiner column.

Now to the top matches:

• The Orton vs. HHH title match was great. This was a Pay Per View-quality match and both guys delivered...Orton retaining the title is good for WWE. He's way over as a heel.
• Cena vs. Big Show is so over-done that I can't watch them anymore. It would be different if Big Show could win cleanly, but that never happens. NEVER EVER.
• The Six Man Tag match was fun. There were more hints of CM Punk turning heel.

Other Ramblings:

I liked the no commercial concept. I thought the show flowed well, even with the childish skits.

I really hope Santina comes back.

Miz is nothing more than a glorified jobber. He has no chance against Cena.

I can see why SmackDown is becoming a better show.

If it weren't for the WWE Championship match, this would have been a huge flop. In my opinion, Randy Orton and HHH saved the show from bombing.
