Juventus are just one point away from claiming their third Scudetto in a row after a hard-fought 3-1 win over Sassuolo on Monday.

The home side shocked Antonio Conte’s Bianconeri when they snatched an early lead through Simone Zaza, but Juve responded before the break with Carlos Tevez smashing home his 19th league goal of the season.

But it was a different story after the break, and the Serie A leaders went in front when a sublime pass from Andrea Pirlo was expertly finished by Claudio Marchisio.

Fernando Llorente then made the game comfortable with a little under 15-minutes left, leaving Conte’s men eight points clear of second-placed Roma with just three games remaining.

Sassuolo: Gianluca Pegolo; Marcello Gazzola, Luca Antei, Paolo Cannavaro, Alessandro Longhi; Raman Chibsah (Matteo Brighi), Francesco Magnanelli, Reto Ziegler (Sergio Floccari); Antonio Floro Flores, Simone Zaza, Nicola Sansone (Gaetano Masucci)

Juventus: Gianluigi Buffon; Andrea Barzagli, Angelo Ogbonna (Leonardo Bonucci); Giorgio Chiellini; Mauricio Isla (Stephan Lichtsteiner), Claudio Marchisio, Andrea Pirlo (Arturo Vidal), Paul Pogba, Kwadwo Asamoah; Fernando Llorente, Carlos Tevez
