Cardinals' Single-A Affiliate to Wear 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' Uniforms

Kyle NewportApr 24, 2014

Minor league baseball teams continue to impress with their creativity when it comes to creating special uniforms.

Earlier on Thursday, the Brooklyn Cyclones unveiled insane Star Wars-themed uniforms. Those uniforms might be tough to top, but the State College Spikes—the Single-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals—are pulling out all of the stops when honoring a classic television show.

On June 29, the Spikes will wear awesome The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air-themed uniforms. To put the night over the top, there will be a special guest in attendance. Alfonso Ribeiro, aka Carlton Banks, will make an appearance at the game.

According to the Spikes' website, the jerseys will be auctioned off during the game to benefit Children's Miracle Network.

State College deserves a lot of credit for coming up with such an awesome promotion.
