NFL Draft Big Board 2014: Matt Miller's Final Rankings

The 2014 NFL draft is finally here. Now, who are the best players available in this loaded class?

This year's draft is unique in that 102 underclassmen have added to an already talented group of senior players. That's made this class the deepest I've seen in my 10 years covering the draft. Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert called it the "deepest draft in 30 years" at the NFL Scouting Combine. In a class this good, there are an incredible number of instant-impact players available.

The depth of this class cannot be overstated. There are six elite players who deserve to draw top-pick consideration in a "normal" year. Add in a number of quarterbacks not ranked inside the top 10 (Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles and Derek Carr) that may also be vying for top-pick status and you have a solid 10 players with top-pick credibility.

What you'll find here are my top 365 players for the 2014 draft. This is not a prediction of the order they will be drafted in, but a ranking of which players are the best prospects for the NFL. Taking into consideration film study, character, upside and scheme fits, the rankings are a look at which players should succeed most in the pros.

Top 100 Players Overall

The 2014 draft class will be talked about at length for the amount of talent, potential and depth inside the top 100. And rightfully so.

The top of the list is anchored by two players with rare grades on my board—Teddy Bridgewater and Jadeveon Clowney. Each scored a 96 (out of 100) in extensive scouting of every college game they played. Measuring positional skills, athleticism and developmental upside, both came out as a elite prospects at their position.

The talent that follows is equally impressive. Sammy Watkins, Greg Robinson and Khalil Mack are rare prospects at their positions. Jake Matthews is as blue-chip as they come in terms of technique and bloodline for the offensive line. And the rest of the top 100 falls in much the same way—a ridiculous amount of talent in one year.
