Rams to Offer $100K for Any Fan Who Predicts Full 17-Week Schedule

Tim KeeneyApr 14, 2014

If Warren Buffett got you in the mood for impossibly difficult contests last month, the St. Louis Rams have just the thing for you.

It's not quite $1 billion, but the team is offering up a potential prize of $100,000. All you have to do? Correctly predict the Rams' entire 17-week schedule.

Rams Vice President of Marketing Brian Killingsworth talked about the contest, via the team's official website: "In anticipation of the Rams 2014 regular season schedule release, we are excited to offer fans the unique opportunity to win $100,000. We challenge our fans to accurately predict all 17 weeks of the team’s regular season schedule and win the cash prize," he said.

You can enter the contest here, and with the NFL's Brian McCarthy announcing that the official schedule will not be released this week, the Rams are setting a deadline of April 21 at 5:59 p.m. ET.

Just don't expect to win.

Not only do you have to pick the perfect order for the Rams' 16 games, but you have to select the day of the week for each game and manage to accurately forecast the bye.

Condolences in advance to the person who arranges the games in correct order but loses because they have the Rams playing the Seattle Seahawks on a Sunday instead of a Thursday night.

Still, this is a smart move by the Rams, and ESPN 1100's Mitch Moss agreed:

The contest will bring the Rams plenty of positive press and attention, and it is only a $100,000 gamble.

The Buffalo Bills are running a similar contest, with the prize being season tickets for life, and it wouldn't be surprising if this idea caught on around the rest of the league.

So, if your bracket was busted, here's your chance to once again daydream about large sums of money before making a bunch of wrong predictions.
