Cristiano Ronaldo's Latest Nike Football Boots, Now with Extra Gold

Update (23 April, 2014): Cristiano Ronaldo will debut his new golden boots in tonight's Champions League match between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, according to the Daily Mail. He can be seen below trying them on in training Tuesday.

Cristiano Ronaldo has had some gold added to his latest football boots, with Nike unveiling a golden version of the Real Madrid and Portugal star's Mercurials:

The studs are gold (you'll see them if he's leaving you for dead on a run). There's a golden line running through the seven of the CR7 logo by his ankle, and there's even a golden signature monogrammed into the heel.

It's not quite Michael Johnson at the 1996 Olympics levels of gold, but it's not far off.
