UCLA Players selected in the NFL Draft

AndyApr 27, 2008
  • Bruce Davis, 2nd Round, 25th Selection
  • Matthew Slater, 5th Round, 18th Selection (Dohn reports that the Pats actually traded up for this pick. Nice.)
  • Chris Horton, 7th Round, Compensatory Selection

Free Agent signings: TBA.

Donโ€™t feel bad for Horton. Remember, Former UCLA Bruin Jarrod Page was one of the last players selected in the 2006 NFL Draftโ€ฆat the SAME exact position. Where is he now? The CFL? Arena League? Some practice squad?

How about the starting Free Safety for the Kansas City Chiefs? Horton is a great player and I think heโ€™ll be in this league for a long time to come.

Iโ€™ll keep my eye out on Brandon Breazell, Dennis Keyes, Trey Brown, and Shannon Tevaga, who Iโ€™m sure will all sign free agent contracts, if they havenโ€™t already.
