Blind Girl Catches a Wave and Surfs in Amazing Clip from Indo Jax Surf Camp

Surfing is hard enough for the fully sighted to master, so just imagine what it takes for a completely blind person to paddle a board out, catch a wave and stand up to ride it into shore.

This clip, filmed by surf instruction company Indo Jax in Wilmington, N.C., proves it's possible.

Devin Adams is the name of the girl in the film above. She comes every year to Indo Jax's surf camp for the blind and partially sighted, along with her full-sighted younger sister—it's a rare chance for the pair to do an activity together.
