Colorado Rapids Prank Fans with Throwback Uniforms for April Fools' Day

April Fools' Day was the perfect time for sports teams to try to pull a fast one on their fans.

The Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer decided April 1 was the right day to unveil interesting throwback uniforms. On Tuesday, the team announced that it would wearย Caribous of Colorado uniforms, which were last worn during North American Soccer League games back in 1978.ย

The Rapid announced on theirย websiteย that the team might wear the uniforms in the team's next home match, which is on April 19. Then again, "perhaps also not."ย 

And in case you were wondering, the team actually did wear these uniforms in the '70s.ย
