8-Year-Old Hockey Player Scores Hat Trick in 10 Seconds

Dan CarsonMar 31, 2014

Freaky good. Freaky fast.

Judging by the way he tore up a Little League game, Brayden MacIntosh of Hanover, Ontario, is truly coming into his own.

The eight-year-old little leaguer managed to score three goals in less time than it takes to reheat a cup of coffee, according to Anna Fogel of FoxSports.com.

MacIntosh scored three times in the span of 10 dizzying seconds. For reasons unknown, his ridiculous feat has been spliced into two videos. The first of these videos begins with your typical Novice Little League play, right up until the 1:50 mark, where MacIntosh decides to take over.ย

The second video shows MacIntoshโ€™s follow-up goals. He takes two faceoffs to the house in the time it takes McDonaldโ€™s to steam cook a Big Mac into existence.

Not too shabby, eh? Clearly, this isnโ€™t exactly Mighty Ducks-level hockey, but it doesnโ€™t diminish this young manโ€™s skill. Regardless of the level of competition, he looked like Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez on ice.ย

MacIntosh scored so quickly his own coach missed the last two.ย

โ€œThere were only a few minutes left,โ€ said coach Mark Dosman (via CTV News Toronto). โ€œI thought we had the game under control so I was talking to one of the kids and all of a sudden the crowd started screaming again. So I missed the third goal too.โ€

Thatโ€™s alright, Coach. You just hang out by the bench and let MacIntosh do the thing MacIntosh does best: punish nets.
